CWI Gifts is looking for a creative individual who loves words and can put them to clever use as a product copywriter for our gift and home décor wholesale business. In addition to being a skilled and accurate writer, this individual is efficient and focused, keeping deadlines in mind while writing. Candidates enjoy the thrill and challenge of creating engaging copy describing diverse types of gifts and home décor products including florals, wall décor, candles, seasonal ornaments, and primitive dolls.
At CWI Gifts, we focus on offering our wholesale customers engaging shopping experiences through both print catalogs and ecommerce. Hands-on interaction with products and samples enables our product copywriters to accurately assess and clearly describe product features that motivate purchases. The Product Copywriter plays an essential role on our marketing team as they work alongside fellow creatives.

We are based in Groveport, Ohio, within a facility that houses our warehouse, offices, onsite showroom, and wholesale cash-and-carry location. This is a full-time contract position with an anticipated start date in mid-October and an expected end date in mid-December, subject to business needs. The candidate will work alongside our catalog designers, photographers, and website teams to ensure all marketing needs are met. This is an in-office position with limited remote work opportunities.
Experience:
Candidates for this position should have at least two years of professional experience in copywriting and/or ecommerce. Candidates should hold a bachelor's degree in journalism, marketing, a related degree, or have equivalent professional experience.
